This simple recipe for homemade muesli only requires 3 ingredients. Add your favourite unsalted nuts, seeds and fruit to serve.

 

Ingredients

  • 4 cups rolled oats
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil

 Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180oC.
  2. Combine the ingredients well and place into a large baking tray.
  3. Place the tray in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Stir the muesli halfway through the cooking time.
  4. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Once cooled completely, store in an airtight container.

 

Tania's Tips

  • Enjoy with a sprinkle of unsalted nuts or seeds, fresh or dried fruit, and serve with your choice of milk or yoghurt.
